What the fuck is wrong with black leaders, celebrities, and writers such that the NAACP is giving Michael Vick a pass on his plea agreement admitting to dogfighting and executing dogs by drowning and hanging. This also describes a
"rape stand" that holds aggressive dogs in place for mating and a "breakstick" used to pry open a dog's mouth.What did the NAACP say?
"As a society, we should aid in his rehabilitation and welcome a new Michael Vick back into the community without a permanent loss of his career in football," said R.L. White, president of the group's Atlanta chapter. "We further ask the NFL, Falcons, and the sponsors not to permanently ban Mr. Vick from his ability to bring hours of enjoyment to fans all over this country."and
"Some have said things to save their own necks," White said. "Michael Vick has received more negative press than if he had killed a human being."Fucking moron. It is worse than killing a man. A man can fight back, but dogs in that situation can't. Not only did he kill defenseless dogs, he tortured them. Hunting is completely different. You don't torture and starve the deer into attacking each other. You don't hang them if they don't win.
White said he does not support dogfighting and that he considers it as bad as hunting.
"His crime is, it was a dog," White said.

And here's a sports writer saying that the NFLPA is hurting itself by not defending Vick. No, idiot, it's helping itself by not appearing like they're supporting dog torturers. That way, when they do intervene, they can have a moral high ground for people that actually might deserve support.
That's the problem with you guys: still defending the indefensible, still playing the victim. Quit it.
