Chertoff has 'gut feeling' of summer terror attack | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

So Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has a 'gut feeling' that terrorists will attack during the summer?

Excuse me, Secretary Chertoff, your job isn't to have 'gut feelings', it's to know, and where you don't know, make the best decision based on relevant information.

What an asinine comment.

McCain's popularity canard

Once again, the MSM is recycling the tired canard that McCain's popularity with Republicans is waning because of the Iraq conflict.
But the president did receive one strong vote of support Tuesday: Senator John McCain, whose Republican presidential campaign has suffered because of his strong backing for the war, returned from Iraq and made clear he still vigorously supported U.S. military efforts there, ending speculation he might join a growing list of Republican defectors.
Wow, that's weird. I thought McCain's popularity went down because of his support for illegal immigrant amnesty.

But that's just me.

RFK Jr. calls global warming skeptics 'traitors'

Wow, talk about hyperbole...and just a bit of hypocrisy.

Have you changed your mind about Cape Wind, yet, RFK Jr.?

Powell tried to talk Bush out of war - Times Online

I respect Colin Powell. His analysis on the current situation in Iraq is asensible, reasonable one. However, sometimes we must soldier on until we cannot go forward any longer. Withdrawal should come when we can no longer sustain troop levels in Iraq and not a moment sooner.

More than meets the eye!

Transformers kicked butt!

Sure, I wasn't super happy about it, but it was a fun movie nonetheless. The ending was a little weak, though. Definitely worth the $10.
