Security for the 21st century

The Department of Homeland Security would do well to invest in this project.

Cool T-shirt

So I've got this thing for cool T-shirts. This is just one shirt that I own. Now check out what Uncrate has dug up.

Sweet.

Ha, ha? II

What happens when Iran fails to meet a deadline to suspend nuclear activities? Why, it's given two more weeks, of course!

If only my deadlines could be so flexible.

Ha, ha?

Hugo Chavez's claims that "U.S. lackeys" are trying to topple him would be funny if his country didn't have so much oil.

Miss England is an idiot

A Muslim, Miss England says that
"The attitude towards Muslims has got worse over the year. Also the Muslims' attitude to British people has got worse.

"Even moderate Muslims are turning to terrorism to prove themselves. They think they might as well support it because they are stereotyped anyway. It will take a long time for communities to start mixing in more.

Miss Kohistani, just look pretty, wave, and shut up.

Bush assassinated in new docudrama

Good Lord, now sickos have made a show in which our President is assassinated. It's one thing to assassinate a fictional President, a la 24, but an actual sitting President?

What's next, a show about the Pope being gay?

An Inconvenient Truth

Can there really be dissent about what causes global warming? That's unpossible!

Go Jersey!

New Jersey is, once again, the nation's wealthiest state.

Certainly, this is helped by those in North Jersey that commute into NYC, but it's still a good bump for my home state.

Dave Weigel on Joe Biden

I don't know whether Dave Weigel understands what tone is, but here's his post about Joe Biden proudly proclaiming his state to be a slave state.

C'mon, Dave. The question was what credentials does Joe Biden have that would allow him to defeat Mark Warner and John Edwards in the South. One credential that Joe Biden cited was that Delaware was a slave state. When you talk about credentials, you're highlighting the things you're saying as positive things. It may not be very offensive to me, but it's a stupid thing to say and a Republican would never get away with saying such a boneheaded thing. Weigel can spin all he wants, but being as I've lived in Delaware for 5 years, saying that it's a Southern state is laughable. Hell, if you ask a Southerner, I'd bet not a one would consider Delaware part of the South.

Try again, Dave.

Sad

Poor Tara Reid. Stick a fork in her, she's done.
