The religious right is really starting to piss me off. I mean, subpoenaing Terri Schiavo to testify before Congress? I mean, not to be insensitive, but I figure that she wouldn't have been very talkative. This interference in personal affairs is not what a true conservative would brook. If they truly want to do something about it, pass a law. That's what they're there for. Now that would be interesting.

UNSCAM update

Because everything was just fine when Saddam was in charge. His people were being fed well, they had happy, wonderful lives, Saddam was disarming, and there was absolutely no corruption in the oil-for-food program.

Sacrificing the Iraqis

Yet another European country is turning its back on the Iraqi struggle for democracy and freedom. Though I appreciate Italy's contribution, especially Silvio Berluscon's political sacrifice, I have nothing but contempt for its peacenik "I hate America" citizens. They are morally vacuous and stand for nothing but their own comfortable lives.

Silencing speech II

Harvard is showing more and more how intellectually vapid and complacent it's become. How university professors can silence a very effective president shows how irrelevant Harvard has become.

Courage

This is simply courage, which is more than I can say for the "let's understand the terrorists" Spaniards. The Iraqis are standing up to terrorism, and that in itself is an incredible stride forward towards changing the Middle East for the better.

Best of luck to Israel if it decides to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure. I think that military action against Iran is inevitable if the U.S. is serious about stopping Iran from acquiring the bomb. Anything else is simply delaying the inevitable.
