I guess that attacking school buses is the Palestinian idea of peace. How can anyone trust the Palestinian government to stop the terrorists?

The weaker sex

The boys here should be rightly punished. The only travesty here is that the 15 year old boy was expelled while the girl was allowed to return to class. This just reinforces the notion that women are the weaker sex so long as the punishment for juvenile sex skews heavily against the males. Trust me, women aren't all that pure nor innocent.

If it weren't for geography

I'd advocate pushing the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, etc. into the sea. This Palestinian "government" is a fraudulent attempt at democracy.

Oh, the irony!

It's a sad day when greenies fight amongst themselves. It's surprising that the evil Republicans have to do anything at all!

My thoughts on the "nuclear option"

It would be a bad move for the Republicans to get rid of the filibuster. The Democrats have the high PR ground on this one, regardless of whatever media bias exists. While Republicans are certainly allowed to change the rules of debate, if they do so, it will look like the Republicans are behaving like people who, when they can't win within the rules, change the rules. It's childish, and I hope that they don't do it.
