Dean calls NY decision denying gay marriage 'bigoted'

How does Howard Dean square his statement that the NY Court of Appeals decision denying equal protection status for gay marriage is 'bigoted' with previous statements that marriage is only between a man and a woman?

Britons see US as vulgar empire builder

According to a YouGov opinion poll, 'The Daily Telegraph' reports that Britons see the US as 'a cruel, vulgar, arrogant society, riven by class and racism, crime-ridden, obsessed with money and led by an incompetent hypocrite.'

It saddens me to hear that, as Great Britain has always been such a stalwart ally to the United States, but I fear that those Britons who believe that should look in the mirror. They are ignoring their problem of home-grown terrorists who blow up buses and trains and who feel that they're disenfranchised and everyone's out to get them.

But the British have no problems with arrogance, class, nor racism.

A rebuke of Mr. Gore

A big rebuke of Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth' by Richard S. Lindzen, Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT.

Whether or not 'Global Warming' as we are led to think of it is happening, Prof. Lindzen makes it very clear that the causes of it are still a question mark.
