Amazon has a trailer for 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', one of the weirdest books ever. It opens April 29, 2005. I especially look forward to seeing Marvin the Paranoid Android in action. It's not every day you see an android with a brain the size of a planet.

Letting Iraq burn

It seems like Europe is content on letting Iraq burn. Liberty for me, but not for thee, eh? This attitude of Europeans and the U.N. smacks of elitism and is simply monstrous.

I suppose that they're thinking they'll have a harder time raping children with the U.S. around, so there's no interest.

Hilarious

As I was driving along, doing a delivery, I found myself driving through Chinatown, where a small parade was taking place, presumably because the Chinese New Year had just past. When I got closer to the parade, I realized that the majority of people in the parade were Caucasian! That was really weird. I mean, Caucasians can celebrate Chinese New Year as they see fit, but I was surprised that they were actually the majority. Is this some sort of reactionary response from the Chinese to integrate, so they don't bother, or what? Who knows? I couldn't help but laugh.

The Germans (and the Europeans) have a problem of anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism that used to be sublimated but is now crystallizing into something that needs to be fought and defeated. This sort of hate is the same kind that fuels Islamists; their complete inability to take responsibility for their actions is the common thread.
