Hello, world

So, here's my blog, because I'm bored and I need a space to vent and my friends have been pummeled into submission.

With the elections just two weeks away, I'm all a-tingle about the outcome for Massachusetts.

Well, no, I'm not. All 12 of her electoral votes will go to John "I'm a duck hunter, football player, windsurfer, never-fall-down snowboarder" Kerry. It's a forgone conclusion.

It's painful, really, knowing that Massachusetts will never go for a Republican. Being a Republican, no matter how moderate, is like being a second-class citizen. Seriously, I've read personals (any port in a storm) where women seriously write that they only want to meet a liberal, like Republicans are somehow 3/5 of a man. Hey, I always appreciate a difference of opinion myself. I bet that Mary Matalin and James Carville have fantastic make-up sex.

Anyway, back to being a second-class citizen and off to bed. This is my first post, and I just wanted to see what it was like. More later.
