Gwyneth Paltrow shows just how much she loves her homeland when she calls Americans crybabies:
She says, "I find the English amazing how they got over 7/7. There were no multiple memorials with people sobbing as they would have been in America. There, they are constantly scaring people but at the same time, people think nothing of going to see a therapist."

Grr. This is why political blogs suck (no offense). You give a quote, and assume that it's obvious what your interpretation of this quote is, and what you object to.
So...What's your beef? It seems as if she's giving a statement of fact (founded or unfounded), and not opinion. Do you disagree with her assessment of the number of memorials?
Well, I interpreted it as Americans are a bunch of crybabies and that the British have the whole 'stiff upper lip' thing going on. I don't think she's giving a statement of fact. Why even bring America into it if all she's commenting on is how the British "got over 7/7"?
