The Australian: Clerics still preaching hatred of West

It's amazing just how two-faced these Islamists are.

Their duplicity is appalling, and I hope that they get their just desserts.

Under expanded sedition provisions, people face up to seven years' jail for promoting feelings of ill will or hostility between different groups so as to threaten the peace, order and government of the commonwealth

Are you kidding me? This is a disgusting piece of legislation for a so-called Western democracy to promote. If something so asinine were to be promoted in our own country, I would HOPE that people would be ranting and raving to test the limits of such idiotic laws.

I don't agree with the sedition laws, but I think that the point of the article is that the radical Muslim leaders are saying one thing in public (i.e., in English) and saying another in Arabic.

What I mean to say is that they've been doing it for awhile, even before the sedition laws were proposed. The radicals create a public perception that they love Australia and that they disapprove of terrorism all the while exhorting it to their followers.
