Bill Bennett's remarks

I don't see the hubbub about Bill Bennett's remarks regarding aborting black babies to reduce crime.

1) What he said was technically true.
2) It was to illustrate reductio ad absurdum.
3) Most importantly, he immediately said that it would be "impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible".

Case closed.

And how the Republican party got dragged into this is beyond me.
