More on the New Orleans hysteria

The LA Times reports on the wild exaggerations of death, rape, rioting, you name it, after Hurricane Katrina. Instead of taking the blame for incompetent and careless reporting, journalists decided to blame their mistakes on "telephone breakdowns" and race.

OK, we believe you. Just feed us more of that pablum, why don't you?

Even the most hysterical bloggers are perhaps coming around to the fact that things weren't nearly as bad as they appeared.
