Shades of the Holocaust
Iran is planning on requiring non-Muslims to wear coloured badges, reminiscent of Nazi Germany.
But of course, America is the evil oppressor, right?

If memory serves, when the Taliban were still in control of Afghanistan, they required all Hindus to wear some sort of tag.
They rationalized it by saying that it was for the protection of non-muslims.
