World of Warcraft hackers using Sony BMG rootkit

Sony is probably the most incompetent corporation in the world. After losing the battle between Betamax and VHS, they continue their string of spectacular failures in the digital world: for their initial refusal to use MP3 as a standard (they went with their proprietary ATRAC3, even forcing those with MP3s to convert them to ATRAC3 if they had a Sony music player), to their low-capacity, high-cost Memory sticks. Now they're getting a huge amount of flack for their ill-advised DRM technique, that, humorously, helps cheaters in World of Warcraft!

This stuff writes itself! The only things I would ever buy from Sony are their TVs.
