The aftermath

In all actuality, the blizzard wasn't too bad, snowing probably a little than 2 feet. The snow was completely dry, so there was little packing, making the snowplowing easy, as well as the shoveling in front of the liquor store easier.

Speaking of the store, the owner called me and asked if the store were open today. I told him that it wasn't, and he asked why we weren't. Seriously, all he thought about was making money. It became pretty pathetic quite soon. If I wouldn't go to work at my real job in this weather, why the hell would I go to a job paying $10/hour? Ridiculous.

What's also ridiculous is a message by Zarqawi excorciating the evils of democracy. This guy is desperate, making wild claims about Iranians entering Iraq to vote. It's so bad that he has to prey upon Sunni fears about Shiite domination of Iraq. He's really sad, a dog. He's looking for any sort of way to divide Iraq and prevent it's citizens from going to the polls. And it looks like that he's failing.
